A Cock & Bull Story...
It's that time of year again...The solstice has just happened, the longest day has passed and now the world famous, ultimate festival, Glastonbury, is well under way (and under water...)
As usual, our huge cast iron bull has been collected for his annual outing to the festival.
He takes pride of place outside the Press zone in The Park. This is the area organised by the lovely Emily Eavis, and the bull has been going here for many years.He does like a bit of music and this year the Park will be hosting a vast number of performers including James Blake, Yoko Ono and Mogwai.
But what about the Cock?
Yes, we have a huge cast iron cockerel and this year you will find him outside the press tent in the interstage area between the Pyramid Stage and the Other Stage - Selfie heaven no doubt with the inevitable 'big cock' joke captions!
He'll be celeb spotting too so any festival goers who manage to take a pic of themselves with the cockerel and a well known face (ie someone we recognise and not an obscure East Enders character from 1994), please post the pic on our Facebook page and you could win a £50 voucher to spend on our website.
