Autumn days when the grass is jewelled...

Happy days!! Crisp, sunny Autumn is here!! Long walks, Christmas cake baking, jam making, sloe gin distilling... The list goes on...anyone would think this was my favourite time of year!?!

Anyway, it's also fireplace season here at Wells Reclamation. And to get the season off to a cracking start, a new collection of wood burning stoves has just arrived. We have a number of designs both traditional and contemporary. They are in varying dimensions to suit different sized spaces and individual heat requirements. We also have an ever changing selection of reclaimed wood burners including a spectacular Norwegian Jotul burner. Quite honestly, there is nothing like a wood burner for a lovely even heat which will instantly bring your home to life. Please come to the store as these are unavailable to purchase online.

To make the installation of your new wood burner nice and easy, we also have a large stock of slate hearths in many different sizes and we can also supply the flue pipe. I know, we think of everything.

However, if you prefer the look and heat from an open fire, we always have a good stock of reclaimed fireplaces and new fireplaces available. Reclaimed firerplace

We can supply stone fire surrounds to enable you to create an authentic inglenook.  As well as stone fire surrounds, we have wood, marble and cast iron. And it goes without saying that we always have cast iron fireplace inserts, both reclaimed and new to suit any age of property. If you want to create the truly authentic cottage style fireplace, we always have a huge stock of newly cut and reclaimed oak for beams and mantles.

In addition to the reclaimed fireplaces, we have a wide selection of both reclaimed and new fire baskets and firedogs to create the perfect look for your room. As well as an everchanging collection of reclaimed brass and copper skuttles, companion sets, fenders and fireside accessories.

All in all, you won't be disappointed if you make a little trip down to the West Country to visit us. And we will always do out best to solve your fireplace problems, making sure you have a wonderful warm and cosy spot by the fire this Winter.

We look forward to seeing you soon...brrrrrr...
