| Wells Reclamation Company was one of the first established reclamation yards dealing in architectural salvage in the country. It is a family run business that was started in 1985 and is situated in five and a half acres of ground in the open countryside, three miles from the ancient town of Glastonbury and two miles from The City of Wells in Somerset.
As the premium resource for architectural antiques, we carry huge stocks of new and reclaimed materials. Our stone yard carries some of the biggest stocks of paving slabs, slate flooring and reclaimed flagstones and reclaimed bricks in the UK. Come and visit our indoor emporium for furniture from the UK, Europe and the Far East including unusual tables, chairs, cupboards, bookcases, desks, screens and beds. Cast iron fireplaces, reclaimed doors, cast iron radiators and church pews can also be found inside.
Our stock is always changing particularly for the garden like garden statues, garden furniture, garden follies and the like. In fact, from wrought iron railings and wrought iron gates to reclaimed lamp posts and external lighting to original telephone boxes and Royal Mail post boxes, it's all here at our reclamation yard in Somerset.
"Wells Reclamation provides for Architects, developers, interior designers, garden designers, local councils, conservation trusts and for those of us who simply need something for the home."
A unique resource of traditional building materials and decorative architectural features, painstakingly gathered from the UK and beyond. An essential place to visit for the authentic restoration of any period property, or just a fascinating day out.
